The top 6 teams of Top Division Men One have clinched their Playoff berth, even with two more gamedays to go. Teams 7 through 10 have to play Play-in games.

In Top Division Men One, 6 teams can start their preparation to Playoff basketball already, as they secured their spot with two more gamedays to go. Let's take a look at the teams that qualified and those who have everything to play for, as the rteams are really battling on three different fronts.
Battling for the top spot
Two teams have separated themselves from the rest of the bunch in TDM1: G&V Breakpoint Basket Waregem and Guco Lier. Both teams stand at 16 wins and 4 losses at the moment, with the four trailing teams counting two more losses. Both Waregem and Guco will battle it out for the top spot of the regular season. Waregem has a relatively easier schedule with Spirou B (away) and United Woluwé (home). Whereas Guco has a long trip to Neufchâteau (away) and a tough home game vs. Comblain on the schedule.
Battling for home court in the first round
Four more teams were able to clinch their playoff participation, this past weekend: BBC Falco Gent, Mailleux Comblain, Basket SKT Ieper and current champion ABO LDP Donza.
All four teams are tied with an identical record: 14 wins and 6 losses. The current ranking is made by comparing the duels between these 4 teams. Only two of these 4 teams will have home court advantage in the first round of the Playoffs, so they still have everything to play for. Let's take a look at each team's remaining schedule.

Battling for the Play-in spots
Underneath the top 6, we have some teams battling for the last spots in the Playoffs. Teams 7-10 can earn a Playoff spot through the play-in games. As it stands right now, this is the current situation.
Avanti Brugge (12-8) has the best claim to the 7th spot, as Gembo Borgerhout can't catch them anymore, but Neufchâteau still can.
Gembo Borgerhout (10-10) can still fall to the 9th spot, as Neufchâteau has one extra game to play.
BCCA Neufchâteau (10-9) holds a lot of the keys for these play-in spots, because in theory they still can go to the 7th spot, but can also finish 8th, 9th or even 10th or 11th. This weekend they play a postponed game against Croonen Lommel.
Insurea Kontich Wolves (9-11) can not reach the 7th spot anymore, but 8th place is in theory still in play.
BBC Croonen Lommel (8-10) has two postponed games to play, on top of the two remaining competition games. So Lommel can still do damage in these play-in spots too.
This visual explains the current situation a little bit more.
