Falco Gent captures de Beker van Vlaanderen vs. Melsele-Beveren

The final game of the Saturday was one for the history books. Falco Ghent faced Basics Melsele-Beveren.
From the opening tip, the pace and intensity were extremely high. Midway through the first quarter, two three-pointers by Niels Foerts (Melsele) were followed by two three-pointers from Thomas Meireman (Falco). The scoreboard showed 27–24 at the end of the first quarter.
Despite strong defense from both teams, Falco and Melsele kept scoring efficiently. Neither side gave an inch, and they went into halftime with a score of 52–46.
Melsele came out of the locker room strong and regained the lead. The crowd created a fantastic atmosphere, and the tension rose by the second. In the fourth quarter, both teams traded the lead again, but after a real thriller, Falco managed to take the cup back to Ghent this year: 93–90!
