After a 1-3 start to open up the season in TDM1, SKT Ieper has now won 6 games in a row and are the team to beat at this moment.

SKT Ieper opened up the 2025-2026 season with some ambition, after they ended their season in the semifinals last year, losing to Guco Lier. They added a lot of young quality, in the form of Thibaut Platteeuw (Falco), Noah Gebbert (Waregem) and Croatian big guy Luka Kujundzic.
Though their start of the season wasn't what they had hoped for. Losing in Lier to start the season isn't a shame and they did follow it up win a home win vs. Willebroek. In the next two games they lost at home against season surprise Neufchâteau and in the gym of LDP Donza, leaving them with 1 win and 3 losses after 4 games.
But afterwards, the train got on the tracks and Ieper hasn't looked back since. What followed, were 6 straight wins:
Ieper - Spirou B: 94-82
Giants B - Ieper: 65-74
Ieper - Gembo: 95-51
Ieper - Waregem: 102-56
Falco - Ieper: 59-62
Ieper - WoluwƩ: 104-62
When you look at the standings, the 6 wins didn't come against the top teams, but a 6 for 6 is pretty impressive nevertheless. The real test will follow in the coming weeks, with consecutively Kontich; CB LiĆØge, Lommel and Avanti on the schedule.
