In the TDM1 and TDW Playoffs we're up to the semifinals, which take off tonight!

In Top Division Men One, there weren't a lot of close series in round 1. Top seeds Waregem and Guco Lier had little to no trouble taking down Gembo Borgerhout and BCCA Neufchâteau respectively.
Reigning champs LDP Donza made a great impression by knocking out the red-hot Mailleux Comblain team 2-0. Many thought Comblain would go all the way, but Donza scored 203 points in two games to shatter that dream.
The most intriguing matchup of round 1 was between BBC Falco Gent and SKT Ieper, the only series that went to three games. After Falco had won game one at home, SKT Ieper did the same in game 2. In a decisive game 3, the Ieper side took the win in Falco and advances to the semifinals against Guco.

In Top Division Women, we had a pretty simple opening round of the Playoffs, with every matchup being handled in two games.
Both Royal Castors Braine and Kangoeroes Mechelen had no problem at all with knocking out LDP Donza and CEP Ladies Charleroi respectively. Basket Namur had a close win in Kortrijk in game 1, but won by a big margin in game two to take the series.
The only 'upset' came in the matchup between #4 Waregem and #5 Phantoms Boom, where Boom handled Waregem in two games. The second game was decided after overtime.
