With a Thursday night win over Ninane Promotion, Royal Waterloo Basket improved their record to 10-1 on the season, claiming the top spot in TDM2B.

Royal Waterloo has had an excellent start to the 2024-2025 season thus far. Waterloo won their first 7 games in a row, before finally losing one. Past Thursday, they looked for another third win in a row against Ninane Promotion.

Ninane started well, but late in the first quarter Waterloo bombed away some threes to run to a 16-26 lead. The home side fought their way back in the game, due to great team effort with no less than 5 players in double figures. In the fourt quarter, it went down to the wire to determine the winner. Waterloo turned to Raphael Morini to guide them to victory. A Morini 3, followed by a Tom Busselen 3 gave a 74-79 lead, from which Ninane couldn't recover anymore. Final: 74-81.

Waterloo improves to 10-1 and the top spot in TDM2B (they've played one game more than BC L'9 Flénu-Frameries). Ninane falls to the 10th spot with a 3-8 record. Raphael Morini finished with 23 points and 8 rebounds, while Samuel Kaminski added 15 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists for Waterloo. Ninane got 16 points from Samuel Bodson and 10 points-9 rebounds from Rémy Collard.
