Cate Reese showed once again why she's probably the best player in Top Division Women, by putting up 35 points and 23 rebounds in the win over LDP Donza.
Newcomer LDP Donza (5-8) had the tough task to try and get a win in the Winketkaai against Kangoeroes Mechelen, who hadn't lost all season: 13-0.
But Donza started the game without fear and ex-Kangoeroes player, Kaat Pauwels, along with the Declercq sisters kept Donza on track: 22-18. It was from the second quarter on that Kangoeroes ran away with it. At the half, the score was up to 48-29 and Kangoeroes won the second half too with 51-23.
Cate Reese showed why she's the MVP of Top Division Women as she scored 35 points, grabbed 23 rebounds and went a perfect 11 for 11 from the line. The league leader in scoring and rebounding had an index of 55.
