Basket Willebroek celebrates promotion to TDM1

Basket Willebroek has made a mark in TDM2, securing the promotion & also capturing the coveted TDM2 title.

In Top Division Men 2 we had a Finals between Basket Willebroek & Royal Waterloo Basket. Due to the fact Waterloo had no intentions of promoting to TDM1, Basket Willebroek was already sure of promotion before the start of the finals.

In these finals Willebroek was extremely motivated in game 1, grabbing the victory in Waterloo: 58-79. You can check out the box score here.

Waterloo responded in game 2 and had Willebroek on their heels for a little while, but in the end the deficit of the first game was too big for the Walloon team: 58-71. Box score.

Next year we'll see Willebroek competing in TDM1 and they're looking motivated to reach the Playoffs once again, with signings such as Terry Deroover (Brussels), Arno Mollekens (Gembo) and Amaury Marion (Royal IV).
