In the TDM2B competition, BC L'9 Flénu-Frameries is on a roll, having won their 10th game in a row over the weekend. They defeated KBGO Finexa Basket@Sea 85-67.
BC Flénu was one of the dark horses to contend at the top of the league when the season started, but now the first round is almost done, Flénu has really claimed their spot as one of the main favorites in Top Division Men 2B.
Their season started off with a small bump in the road, losing at Oostkamp 83-73. But since then, the team from the small town just outside Mons, has been unstoppable. The 85-67 home win over KBGO Finexa Basket@Sea marked their 10th win in a row, improving Flénu's record to 10-1.
Flénu jumped out to a good start and really never looked back. They won every quarter, reflecting into a 43-30 score at halftime and 85-67 at the final buzzer. This time it was 23-year old power forward David Malu who torched the opponent. He had 23 points and 9 rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench. Thibaut Bronchart contributed with 16 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.
